Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other
but in looking outward together in the same direction.
~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing, there is a field.
I will meet you there.
~Rumi

"There are four questions of value in life... What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same. Only love."
Don Juan deMarco

Yogis Without Borders

Yogis Without Borders was conceived by Joshua and Elizabeth while hiking on a weekend camping trip in the spring of 2007. We wanted a way to travel and connect with people in different cultures around the world. The idea of using yoga as a vehicle to reach out to others across the globe became a dream and soon to be reality.

Mission:

To unite individuals across the globe through the study and sharing of all forms of yoga. By encouraging a dialogue and practice with yogis of different cultures, we aim to gain an understanding of ourselves and the world we live in.

In February 2009 we leave Saint Louis to embark on our year long journey around the world.
Our preliminary schedule is as follows:
Ft. Collins, CO
Phoenix, AZ
Los Angles, CA
Santa Cruz, CA
North Fork, CA (for a 10 day meditation retreat)
San Fransisco, CA
Cusco, Peru
Bolivia
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Brasil
Lisbon, Portugal
Morocco
Spain
Ireland
India
Thailand
Australia
New Zealand

Yogi Union

Josh and Za (eli-ZA-beth) met at Yoga Source yoga studio in St Louis Missouri in the summer of 2006. Za had noticed Josh (and liked what she saw) when he started showing up to Keith’s Sunday afternoon yoga classes. When Pascale (a mutual yogi friend) brought him to Za’s halloween party and he was dressed as Edward Scissor Hands (one of her favorite childhood movies!) she knew it was meant to be.
